1、Calcium chloride has the fuction of dust removal. It  has strong water absorption capacity, because it is easily soluble in water, especially easy to deliquesce. When calcium chloride is dissolved in water, it will absorb the water in the air and become crystal water. Crystal water can absorb dust in the air and become large particles to settle, so calcium chloride can play a role in dust reduction.
Calcium chloride can be used as deicing agent: The freezing point of calcium chloride after dissolving in water is about-30 C, which is lower than that of water (0 C), so dissolving calcium chloride in water will lower the freezing point and prevent it from freezing.

2、Magnesium chloride hexahydrate is to be used as deicing agent,which is more eco-friendly than sodium chloride, causing less damage to roads and plants.also to be used as dust suppressant for dust control on roads and mining sites.

3、Anhydrous magnesium chloride is an effective deicing agent for road applications, offering 30% higher snow-melting efficiency compared to sodium chloride (effective even at -30°C) while exhibiting lower corrosivity to concrete. It is widely used on highways in extreme cold regions of northern climates.Additionally, it serves as an effective dust suppressant when sprayed on mining sites, construction zones, and other dust-prone areas, forming a moisture-retentive crust to control airborne particles.

4、Sodium chloride (NaCl) is used as a road deicing agent, effective down to -10°C, though it accelerates concrete corrosion.
